
These are a favorite in our home and super easy to make. What I love is the simple but healthy ingredients and they are a good source of fiber and omegas. Yes to gut and brain health. Here's the recipe: No Bake Energy Bites 1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips (we like dark chocolate chips)
1/2 cup ground flax
1/2 cup peanut or almond butter
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Optional: 2-3 drops Cassia or Wild Orange Essential Oil. Cassia has a cinnamon flavor but milder Mix all ingredients together and form into balls. Freeze 1 hour to set.
Makes approximately 24 balls (95 calories per ball)
